Juan Manuel Marquez is still hoping that he can lure Ricky Hatton into signing a contract to face him in the ring. He said Hatton is very popular and it would be a great crowd pleasing fight. Although the two have opposite styles — Hatton is an offensive type of fighter while Marquez is a defensive counter-puncher — these two boxers have some things in common.
First, both of them have been defeated by Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Second, both of them look fat. Hatton bloated himself with ale, while Marquez bloated himself for the Mayweather bout. Third, both of them love drinking. Hatton drowns himself with kegs of beer everyday, while Marquez drinks his urine up to the last drop. I wonder what will be the title of this fight. Here’s a suggestion: “Marquez-Hatton: What are you drinking?”
