According to FightNews.com, former light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu might be interested in making a comeback if he had the opportunity to fight one of the boxing superstars — Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Sugar Shane Mosley. Tszyu has not fought in over five years since being knocked out in the 11th round by Ricky Hatton in June 2005.
Tszyu is 40 years old and has been out of boxing for a very long time, and beating him will unlikely do any good for his opponent’s legacy. Floyd might accept the “challenge” as that is what he’s good at — cherrypicking old and small fighters. If Tszyu were to ask me for an advice, I will discourage him to face these fighters as any of them will most probably tear him into pieces. I will advise him instead to challenge Ricky Hatton for a rematch. After all, they both look fat nowadays.
